Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 1, 2026 · Last Updated: October 2026 · Location: Eskişehir, Türkiye
1. Purpose and Scope
This Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing, and protection of personal and technical telemetry data gathered by BioBitki Technologies ("BioBitki", "we", "us", or "our") through our website (biobitki.com), API endpoints, Revit/CAD BIM integrations, and bioclimatic simulation services.
BioBitki is committed to maintaining strict compliance with international data privacy regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU 2016/679) and the Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK No. 6698).
2. Categories of Data Collected
We process information categorized into the following buckets:
-
Account & Contact Telemetry: Business email addresses (
@firm.com), organization names, professional job titles (e.g., Landscape Architect, ESG Director), and correspondence notes submitted during demo or pilot requests. - Geospatial & Project Parameters: Non-personal coordinates, site boundary vectors (DWG/DXF/IFC), soil test parameters (pH, NPK, salinity), and microclimatic zone designations necessary to compute botanical matrices.
- Technical Logs: IP addresses, browser user-agent tokens, API key usage counts, and request latencies collected strictly for system security, fraud mitigation, and rate limiting.
3. Artificial Intelligence & Third-Party LLM Processing
Anthropic Claude API Zero Data Retention Standard
BioBitki integrates foundational AI reasoning from Anthropic PBC (Claude API). All project variables transmitted to Anthropic for botanical companion synthesis are processed under enterprise commercial terms: Prompts and site inputs submitted to the Claude API are never used to train or fine-tune public models, and are subject to immediate ephemeral processing in adherence to Anthropic’s commercial safety and privacy commitments.
4. Legal Grounds for Processing (GDPR & KVKK)
We process your data strictly on the basis of:
- Contractual Necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / Art. 5(2)(c) KVKK): To deliver requested bioclimatic matrices, BIM family downloads, and API responses.
- Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / Art. 5(2)(f) KVKK): To safeguard platform integrity, prevent cyber threats, and audit prediction models.
- Explicit Consent: Where you opt in to receive architectural engineering bulletins or product updates.
5. Data Retention & Erasure
Project geospatial telemetry and simulation matrices are retained for the duration of the commercial client engagement or until deletion is formally requested. Inquiries submitted via web forms are purged within 18 months unless an active contract is executed.
6. User Rights
Subject to applicable law, users and enterprise representatives have the right to:
- Request access to personal records held by BioBitki,
- Demand rectification of erroneous or outdated data,
- Request complete erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"),
- Object to or restrict specific processing operations.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Controller directly at work@biobitki.com.
